Hi, I'm Michelle
Working with children and families to find their way and thrive has always felt natural to me. This passion led me to become a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in Auburn, CA. With over 10 years of experience in the therapeutic field and more than 25 years working directly with families, I specialize in supporting children between the ages of 3 to 12. My goal is to help build emotional resilience, develop positive coping strategies, and strengthen relationships—all in a way that feels safe, engaging, and empowering.
Helping Children Process Their Emotions
Therapy can sometimes feel intimidating, but I believe kids do their best work when they feel comfortable and free to express themselves. That’s why my approach is warm, welcoming, and yes—a little playful and silly! I use creative techniques like play therapy, art, and storytelling to help children process their emotions in ways that feel natural to them.
Uplifting and Empowering Experience
At its core, therapy should be an uplifting and empowering experience. My job is to help your child navigate life’s challenges without pressure—whether that means working through anxiety, emotional regulation, or social struggles. I strive to make therapy an engaging and rewarding journey, so your child can grow in confidence, and you, as a parent, feel supported every step of the way.
Guidance for Parents
While my work focuses on supporting children, I also partner with parents, offering guidance and practical strategies to help navigate challenges and support your child’s unique needs. You know your child best—I’m here to provide insight, encouragement, and effective tools to foster growth, connection, and confidence in your parenting journey.
